About the Bridge Gallery

The Bridge Gallery is an artists’ co-operative that was formed in 1994 by a group of 12 artists who met while members of another co-op that had closed. Still interested in working with each other, they found another location in an early 20th-century granary near the railroad tracks, in the original part of downtown Colorado Springs.

Called Roby Mill, the granary had been converted to a gallery and artists’ studios by an artist in the 1990s.

The gallery has survived reconstruction of the bridge as well as neighboring studio artists and galleries coming and going. As the oldest contemporary, fine art gallery in the city, we have gained a reputation for having some of the best art to be found.
