March 2019 Workshops

Saturday, Mar 23, 12 to 3pm - Journey of Dreams, A Mixed Media Workshop - John Lawson

    Participants will explore the use of personal icoonography using a variety of materials and techniques.  The goal will be to help participants to be able to express more freely, through experimentation, and with

an individual visual vocabulary.

     This workshop is for all levels of expertise.i

     $60.00 for the workshop. 

     Supplies needed:

     o  Collage materials (magazines, colored/plain papers, cloth, etc.)

     o  Cutting materials (X-Acto knife, scissors, cutting board, etc.)

     o  Gluing materials (glue stick, white glue, stapler, etc.)

     o  Painting/drawing materials (watercolor, brushes, markers, colored pencils, etc.)

     Limit of 6 students.  $25 non-refundable deposit required.

Sunday, Mar 31, 9 am to 12 pm - How to Draw Using Perspective - Michael Cellan

    Perspective is the visual trick of creating a 3-D view onto a 2-D substrate, such as a piece of paper. 

    In other words, how to make it look “real”.

    Come spend 3 hours, doing some drawings, and lear, and maybe teach others, how to make perspective work for you.  Bring your camera or smart phone.

     $60.00 for the workshop.  All materials provided. 

     Limit of 6 students.  $25 non-refundable deposit required.

There is a limit of 6 students for each workshop.  A non-refundable check of $20 is required to hold your place in a workshop.  You may also pay the whole amount.
